OCEAN WEATHER
2023

1/2
slumped glass,
Created during my second year in the "Wall Creation" course led by Lena Dubensky, this piece is inspired by the ever-shifting movement of ocean waves under different weather conditions. Using the glass slumping technique, I shaped each panel by fusing glass onto carefully sculpted plaster molds that mimic the fluid, organic motion of the sea. The textured surfaces capture the rhythm and turbulence of water, translating nature’s unpredictability into a tactile, architectural composition. The arrangement of the glass panels evokes both harmony and fragmentation—reflecting the ocean’s duality of calm and chaos.
